Etienne Cazin is the Coordinator for Europe and Middle-East at CampusFrance. Together with the relevant departments of the French Embassies abroad, he is in charge of developing activities for the promotion of French higher education institutions. He also participates in various EC-funded projects, including ‘Building Capacities‘ and the ‘Global Promotion Project' and has co-authored a series of notes about international academic mobility.
Previously posted at the French Embassy in Thailand as head of the EduFrance office, Etienne Cazin holds a graduate degree in Development Studies from the University of Paris I, a graduate degree in Greek Literature of the University of Paris IV, and the diploma of the Institute of Political Sciences of Paris.
Ulrike Koch is Head of Section Europe and Latin America at the German Rectors' Conference (HRK) and Senior Expert in Higher Education Marketing at GATE-Germany, the joint consortium of DAAD and HRK. Within GATE-Germany, she is responsible for policy planning, surveys and evaluations. Prior to occupying this post, she worked as Head of Section External Relations at the University of Augsburg, Germany.
Amaëlle Mayer is the North Asia coordinator at CampusFrance. She is responsible for implementing the national policy for the promotion of French higher education in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
She has also been involved, as a communications expert, in a project funded by the European Commission's Asia-Link programme, which dealt with the organisation of European Higher Education Fairs in Asia.
She has previously worked as a junior communications officer at the Cultural Section of the Embassy of France in India. She has also worked as a junior communications and events officer at the Fondation de France in Paris. She holds a graduate degree in Literature and a post-graduate degree in Communication from the University of Lyon II.
Christian Müller is head of the Division ‘Communication and Marketing' at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). In this role, he is responsible for the secretariat of the consortium GATE-Germany and for the secretariat of the joint initiative ‘International Marketing for Education and Research'. Prior to occupying this post, he worked for the DAAD in Portugal and Brazil. He also used to work as a university lecturer in German Language and Literature, and trained experts in development cooperation (German Foundation for International Development).
Louise Watts is International Programmes Coordinator at CampusFrance, the national agency in charge of the promotion of French higher education abroad. Louise is responsible for managing CampusFrance's replies to calls for tender and the agency's participation in EU projects. She notably coordinates the series of European Higher Education Fairs (EHEFs) in Asia funded by the European Commission's Asia-Link programme and implemented by the consortium led by CampusFrance and consisting of DAAD, Nuffic and the British Council.
Before joining CampusFrance in 2004, Louise Watts was Programme Manager at the Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP) and worked with a number of foreign countries on the bilateral language assistants' programme. Louise is a qualified teacher with experience of teaching at university level and holds a master's degree in Linguistics.
